Phase Converter Comparison Chart

Need help evaluating different choices to provide 3 phase power for your equipment or machinery?  Read below about the differences in the types of 3 phase converters and how they score in different tests.  Each product type will receive a rating from 1 to 5 on each category with 1 being poor quality and 5 being excellent.  Remember even in considering these guidelines some companies are currently selling inferior phase converters as another type of product.  We recommend purchasing a product after you have thoroughly investigated the product type and the company who manufactures the product.  One valuable consideration is to choose a manufacturer which is a member of the BBB (Better Business Bureau).  See the Phase Converter Purchasing Checklist for additional important details to consider when selecting the correct brand and model to supply the 3 phase power which you need.  Quality phase converters passing our tests will receive the U.S. Phase Converter Standards Organization Seal of Approval Recommendation.  Click on the product type to read more about why it received the rating in each category.
