2.  How long has the manufacturer been making 3 phase converters? 
We recommend that you only purchase from a company which has been manufacturing phase converters more than 5 years.  

3.  Is the company a member of the BBB (Better Business Bureau)?  Are they in good standing with the Better Business Bureau?
Only purchase from a manufacturer that is a member of the BBB Better Business Bureau and is in good standing.  This is one important way to make sure that the company has a history of selling and supporting quality products.  Phase Converter Manufacturers with inferior products will not join the BBB.

4.  How long is the manufacturers warranty on the phase converter?
Only purchase a 3 phase converter that comes with a warranty that is 5 years or longer.  If it is shorter, don't even ask that it be extended, just move on to find a better product from another company.  This is a sign of the products quality.

5.
